Vendors Marketplace

Calfurry Guests will enjoy The Marketplace which will feature a wide assortment of goods and services from a fantastic collection of Vendors selected specifically for the event.

Whether it’s art commissions, Fursuits or Fursuit parts, or hand-crafted goods that you’re looking for, The Marketplace will be a shopping destination that you won’t want to miss!

Specific hours will be announced soon, but we can announce that The Marketplace will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during Calfurry 2025.

Vend At Calfurry

The Marketplace will feature more than thirty tables and booths at Calfurry and is a great place for artists and makers to interact with and sell to convention Guests in a vibrant environment.

Vendors are chosen based on a number of criteria including reputation, business practices, product/service offerings, and suitability. A panel will select our Vendors and all applicants will be notified whether or not they are accepted as a Vendor for the Calfurry Marketplace.

All accepted vendors will be required to agree to our Vendor Agreement.

Accepted Vendors will be given early access to a hotel booking link for a limited time and have access to our VIP lounge during operating hours.

Vendor applications for the 2025 Marketplace are not currently being accepted. Details will be posted as they become available.

CALFURRY VENDOR AGREEMENT WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

The undersigned Vendor and any of its representatives participating in CALFURRY, operated by Alberta Anthropomorphics Ltd., agree to comply with the terms and conditions set forth in this Vendor Agreement. In consideration of these premises, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the Vendor agrees as follows:

  1. Vendor Defined: The term “Vendor” means the person or company applying to be a vendor at the above-referenced Event and each of its officers, directors, shareholders, members, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, and/or invitees, as applicable.
  2. Reservation on Acceptance: Alberta Anthropomorphics Ltd. reserves the right to accept or reject any application to participate in the Event as a Vendor based on the uniqueness and/or quality of the product or services offered, space availability, attractiveness and/or appropriateness of space and/or booth, and references from other events.
  3. Compliance with Governmental Regulations: Vendor must comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and local codes, ordinances, rules, and regulations, including, but not limited to, fire, utility, public safety, health and building codes and regulations.
  4. Permitted Products & Services: Vendor may offer products and services that are largely produced by the Vendor and that are not considered illegal under Federal, Provincial, or local law. Products featuring artwork that is created by artificial intelligence (AI) image generators are not permitted for sale or display during the Event. Food and beverage products are not to be displayed or offered for sale unless granted an exemption by the venue and Alberta Anthropomorphics Ltd.

    Commercially or mass-produced products are permitted provided that they do not make up the majority of the product offerings by the Vendor at the Event.

    Goods designed for an adult (18+) audience may be offered and sold, but not displayed publicly except in locations and during times designated by Alberta Anthropomorphics Ltd. It is solely the responsibility of the Vendor to confirm the age of a potential Customer prior to showing or selling adult products to them.

  5. Hours of Operation: Vendor agrees to operate their table/booth during all opening hours as designated by the Event. Absences are permitted where the Vendor is participating in an Calfurry-sanctioned event (eg: a panel or performance) or for personal matters. Non-operation of your Vendor space due to lack of inventory, lack of available commission spots, or similar is not permitted.
  6. Sales Tax: Vendor agrees to collect and remit applicable sales tax from gross receipts on sales to appropriate agencies if required. Alberta Anthropomorphics neither collects from nor remits any applicable taxes on the behalf of Vendors.
  7. Damage to the Property: Vendor is liable for any damage caused by Vendor or any of its Representatives to the Event venue or the property of other Event participants. Alberta Anthropomorphics is not responsible for the actions of Vendors at the abovereferenced event.
  8. Indemnity and Release of Liability: Vendor waives any and all rights and claims to which self, and any heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, successors and assigns may now or hereinafter have against and do hereby fully release and discharge Alberta Anthropomorphics Ltd. and their respective members, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, all event sponsors, event volunteers and other officials associated with the Event (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any and all personal injury or illness, disability, death, property damage, theft, or other losses or damages of any kind resulting either directly or indirectly from Vendor's participation in this Event, whether or not caused by Vendor's negligence or the negligence of the Released Parties, and/or Vendor's non-compliance with or breach of this Agreement. Further, Vendor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claim or liability and any resulting loss, cost or damage for failure or alleged failure to obtain the required licenses or consents, or for infringements of copyright, patent, and/or unauthorized use of registered trademark or service mark, or other violations of property or proprietary rights or the rights of privacy or publicity of any third party.

    Vendor understands and acknowledges that vendor may be photographed while participating in this Event and hereby authorizes the use of Vendor's name and any such photographs, videotapes, or other record of participation in this Event for any legitimate purpose by Alberta Anthropomorphics Ltd. and associated individuals and entities.

    This Waiver and Release of Liability shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.

  9. Losses: Vendor further agrees that any loss sustained by Vendor as a result of participating in this Event shall be borne by Vendor.
  10. Relationship: The Vendor is an independent operator, and through this agreement no agency, partnership, joint venture, or employer/employee relationship is created with CALFURRY or Alberta Anthropomorphics Ltd. The Vendor, its owners, employees, or other agents shall not represent themselves as representatives of CALFURRY. Vendor shall not enter into any contract or other agreement which would cause CALFURRY or Alberta Anthropomorphics Ltd. to be liable in any way with any other party, including, but not limited to, manufacturers, Vendors, or other suppliers, etc. Vendor shall not sublet or otherwise assign any part of their space to a third party without the express consent of CALFURRY. Vendor shall hold CALFURRY and Alberta Anthropomorphics Ltd. harmless from any cost or any other liability it may incur with the production of merchandise.
  11. Club Calfurry Voucher Payment Acceptance: The Vendor must participate, as a condition of this agreement, in accepting Calfurry vouchers with a value of $10 CAD each as a payment method towards any of their goods or services offered at Calfurry. These vouchers are provided to Club Calfurry members and are non-transferable. They must be applied towards payment of item(s) with a total sale amount of $10 CAD pre-GST or more. (If a Guest uses the voucher for an amount less than $10, no change is to be given.)

    The voucher(s) may then be turned in to Calfurry administration for reimbursement on a 1:1 basis by end of the final day of business for the Marketplace for that year's event. Any vouchers not submitted for reimbursement by then will be considered expired and no longer valid.

  12. Representation: During Calfurry, each Vendor operating a single 8' table or 8x8' booth is permitted one authorized assistant to attend to their space. Those with a double 8' corner table are permitted two authorized assistants. These individuals must be registered to attend the convention and will be granted access to the Marketplace as a representative of their respective Vendor and must follow the terms of this document. Those granted a half table space may not authorize any assistants.
  13. Voluntary Participation: Vendor understands and acknowledges that its participation in this Event is completely a voluntary undertaking, and that Vendor has assumed all risks associated with such participation. CALFURRY makes no representation nor guarantees regarding actual Event attendance, nor makes any representation of potential financial success or failure.

Through submission of application materials and Vendor's signing of this Agreement, Vendor confirms to have read this Vendor Agreement Waiver and Release of Liability and certifies that Vendor fully understands its contents, including all policies, rules and regulations for participation in this Event, and the ramifications of Vendor's execution of same. Vendor further certifies that the Vendor and Vendor's property, equipment, and vehicles are properly insured for any and all losses incurred, and/or damages caused, by Vendor or any other party. Vendor hereby assumes complete responsibility for all risks associated with participation in this Event.

By signing below, Vendor agrees, that if selected to participate, Vendor and Vendor's representatives will adhere to the terms of this agreement and CALFURRY Code of Conduct document available at www.calfurry.ca.
